Check out a Wi-Fi Hotspot
at the Macon County-Tuskegee Public Library
If you are a library patron without Internet access in your home, the library can provide you with a Wi-Fi hotspot connection thru Alabama Public Library Service. A Wi-Fi hotspot is a device you can use to connect a mobile-enabled laptop, smartphone, or tablet to the Internet. Hotspots can be checked out at the public library by adults with a valid ID and library card. Multiple devices can be connected to the hotspot.
The hotspot can be checked out for three weeks. They are renewable but will need to be returned based on demand. If the hotspot is not returned, it will be disabled and the library patron will be charged the cost of the device. Only one device can be checked out per card. Supply is limited.
